Cardiac Review

 

This year at Capital High School our HSTA Club and CAMC worked together with the CARDIAC Project. CARDIAC stands for Coronary Artery Risk Detection in Appalachain Communities. This project is being conducted in an attempt to decrease the incidence and severity of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and stroke in West Virginia. All 9th garde students were invited to participate in the screening on October 4. This screening was free today with this program but the average cost of these services for a family of 3 is about $320.00.
